Lowering.
after i upgrade to new rims im going to be lowering my car... does anyone what exactly im going to need to do this. and how much total cost i might be looking at roughly... i know its not easy to do but just a rough guess
yeah.. coilovers are the exspensive ones but they also have an adjustable height...... what are some good brands... i heard tein is a good brand...... im looking to lower it so it doesnt have a beasty look with my 17s im going to put on it....
I have the tein flex. They ride amazing! A ton better than a sleeve coilover like ground control and skunk 2. Plus you can buy the edfc which makes it so you can adjust the dampening from inside the car.

what are you using the car for? if it's just for street use, your best bet would be some kind of aftermarket shock/spring combo. but if you want to adjust the height, you could either get a full coilover (tein flex, ksport, omni etc) or just get an aftermarket shock with a coilover sleeve. with that setup, a very popular one is koni yellows with ground controls. the full coilovers are usually going to be the most expensive, followed by sleeves and shock/spring combos.
if you're going to autocross or road race, full coilovers are generally the best type to get, but a lot of people run the koni/ground control combo and do just fine.
