Re: locked keys inside, help!
not all alarms work like that for instance when i turn o the igntion it will lock the doors after i start driven, but if i turn the ignition engine off but kep acc on it wil lock the doors after sometime even if the key is in the igniton, bt if i turn the car off completeit will lock the doors after 5 secs when bot doors are closed so the best way is to kee a spare keep cause these arlarms are designed to lock ppl out including u

Well damn that sounds like a retarded alarm I think most alarms have different settings where you can enable or disable some of those functions. If it does some unwanted function like that, then you need to learn how to disable it or change that function's behavior.
it locks if either i drive off or turn the engine or car off, this way if i forgot to lock for any reason it arms it self when both doors are locked
and i can disarm that function if 4 instance i am working on the car
i have the blackjack where u have to put a code in to drive it off/or turn it back on if u forgot to put the cod in,that will give me enough time to load my gun and catch a thief

My alarm can automatically arm also, but IMHO that would be a PITA dealing with that. I *always* hit the lock button on the remote when I walk away from the car, and it stays in the garage at night, so I don't need it locking itself for me.

i have neither, i have a curb, my alarm is different though, if i start the car with the door open, once i close it, the door will not lock, in order for the doors to lock, the doors have to be closed when the car is started

I don't see how you are having a hard time getting in. I locked my keys in my car like 3 times and took all of 1-2 min tops to open it using a coat hanger. It's easy enough that I'm tempted to get some plastic I can heat and bend to sit over my handle/door lock.
I'm going on vacation in two weeks and scared to death some shady fool will steal my car. My GF says I'm just paranoid, seeing constant "stolen" threads back when I had my EM1 has put the fear into my heart.
