Default light problems

hey guys, my brothers integra has a big problem umm... when he hits the brakes his hazard lights go on or his parking lights do you guys have any idea what is causing this? if so thanks

has he done any wiring on his car himself lately? it could be a fuse but think he is grounding out a wire somewhere..thats what i think....check the bulbs make sure he used the right size too...just some suggestions

well yea we've check all blubs and all fuses there all fine the thing was he got his front end and they fixed it and it was working fine till last week so....yea

that it back for them to look at...i deffinately did something to it then.

LOL never heard that before, thats funny LOL...must be a pain and hella annoying though

For the hell of it, does the horn work?

The horn is getting power from the same grn/wht wiring circuit as the brakes do. If you got horn, you must have brake lights, or at least the power is flowing correctly that far (this is protected by fuse # 52 under the hood).

Further up from the horn is fuse #53, which branches right before #52 and protects the grn/wht circuit leading to HAZARDS and TURN SIGNALS. Problem is, since the brake light switch is wired way further down, there should be no connection between them.

I don't have the diagram now, but it sounds like you will need to focus on this circuit, then.
