left blinker is blinking faster than right, help
Not sure what the problem is. My left blinker/turn signal is blinking about twice the speed of my right blinker/turn signal. What could be the problem? I actually like it blinking faster, so how might I change the right blinker to blink at the same speed as the left one?
Thanks
Thanks

Yes, that means the bulb is out in your left blinker. It could be the rear, or the front bumper lenses. Note that the front bumper lenses have a dual filament bulb. Even if one of those filaments are busted, it will count as the entire bulb being out.

ok, that makes sense, because i believe my left front side marker is out. is there anyway to replace the bulb, but then make both blinkers blink fast. as i mentioned, i like it a little faster, and even the teg that i am selling now has always had fast blinkers (probably twice as fast as normal). does this depend on the relay?

Okay.....first....J00 are a ricer!
Anyway, to make then faster all the time, do this. Unscrew your corner lens in the front. Pull the assembly out from the bumper and you will see a wire harness go into the lens. There are 3 wires going into it, right? You want to switch the outer two wires.
To do this, remove the harness from the lens by twisting it and pulling out. Then remove the bulb. Then you can "push" out the wires from the inside and then swap out the outer two wires.
Note that this isn't perfectly "healthy" for the car, but it gives you that fast-blinker that you want. It will blink fast inside on the gauge cluster as well as outside on the actual blinkers.
Note again, that your front bumper lenses will now always have both filaments on all the time when your parking lights are on. So when you have your primary lights on, they will be brighter. When your primary lights are on AND your turn signals are on, they won't be very noticable since both filaments are already on. The might dim and get bright but that's it. Won't be as noticable as before.
This is the easy/free way to do this. The other way is to purchase a relay and do some extra wiring.

They sell some fast blinker relay crap on eBay that replaces your blinker relay and makes them blink fast.. I think its adjustable as well.. something along the lines of SUPER HYPER BINKER RACER MODULE!!!!!.. lol good luck with your project

Heehee, I'm just messing around. I only had that bumper on for a short period of time. Then I swapped to a 98+ front end, and a built motor + turbo. No rice, y0!

i just got my "new" '94 GSR w/ t3/t4 turbo, intercooler, the works - jdm front end - no rice here either (except for the fast blinking corners, single wiper, and possibly the wing, which actually looks better than a lot of other wings, but may remove eventually - not a priority)

Make note though***having faster blinkers are illegal. i had friends getting pulled over before and got cited for having fast blinkers.
i know it is illegal, but honestly i don't think cops around here nit-pick about stuff like that too much. i bet CA cops are up on the automotive laws, whereas not so much (i don't think at least) in CT
