KYB shocks
im running the kyb gr2 with megan racing springs. the ride is relatively smooth compared with other setups.
they are slightly better than factory and can handle under a 2" drop as long as the spring rates arent too high.

i had agx's on my gsr when i bought it and they were installed in 2001. when i took over tha rears were soft as heeell. looked online at some reviews and people have been saying after about a year or 10,000 miles tha rears keep getting softer and softer even when you continue to stiffen them. just my experience. replaced them with tein basics and i love them

KYB GR-2 shocks are meant to be a stock replacement only and cannot handle much of any drop for an extended period of time. Anything more than a 1" drop or slightly higher than stock spring rates will eventually blow them out.
AGX's are a good mid-priced adjustable shock. Not as good as Tokico Illuminas or Koni Sport (yellows), but still better than GR-2's or Tokico Specials (blues).
