are koni reds height adjustable?
are they? i thought i red them somewhere that they were, but then somebody says its not. I know u can adjust the stiffness, but what about height adjustable like the koni yellows? thanks
If it's a coilover yes, if you're talking about the shock itself NO... No shock are ajutable in height... Only in stiffness... They 2 ways to go... Shock + spring or coilover.... Only the second one allow you to ajust the height but it's way lot less confortable for daily use and you need to do alignement everytime you ajust them...
Shock and spring give you a better ride, improves handling depending on spring rates and the quality of shocks... But you sacrifice a bit of handling compare with coilover...
But if it's not for racing purpose, don't go with coilover... Most daily riders regret it after...

KONI Yellows - height and stiff adjustable
KONI Reds - no adjustment

For the most part, this is correct, unless you are talking about the Koni Red RSK kit. It is valved like the Koni yellows, has an adjustable height perch like Koni yellows. The only drawback is that it uses the old Koni Red 'take shock off car and twist' damping adjustability method.
