knuckle work
hey.. i recently had my studs broken.. so instead of getting it professionally done, i tried doing it myself w/ a little weak hub puller (RENTED FROM KRAGENS) to take of the hub while it was still on my car.. i prolly messed up the hub so i juss bought a used knuckle off a homie..
so i juss put the new knuckle on and bolted.. but i hadda problem bolting it into place, so i used a vise grip to tighten it, so now the bushings (orwhatever theyre called) are popped, and the lube is leaked out, making the whole front driver side creak when i make wide turns...
i wanted to know what the bushings are called and what are they attached to because i juss dont know the names..
-bushings that are connect to the top, bottom right, and bottom left,
thanks

i think you're talking about the upper and lower ball joints. but when you pulled your old hub out, unless you damaged the studs, you probably only pulled the bearing apart. you could have fixed that with a new bearing and hub. i dont think you needed to replace the whole knuckle.
either way, now that your joint boots are torn, you probably just need a new upper and a new lower ball joint.
