you have to get your ecu chipped and the knock sensor deleted. thats really the only way to not hav a knock sensor

if your knock sensor is not hooked up u will not get v-tec i believe it puts your motor in limp mode

then i wouldnt worry about the knock sensor. Get the ecu chipped and tuned. When you do that get the knock sensor removed

theres really no way of trying to hook it up without the knock sensor unless your just talking about the ecu...thats what i'm currently at the moment running my ls/v without the knock sensor...

it is important for the knock sensor to be hoocked up cause on my car for examle i wired up my vtec and not the knock sensor (this is on my B17) i mean it ran fine but not to it's fullest potential so when i finally decided to hoock up my sensor it ran like a champ the vtec poped hard and it stopped running like crap when it was just idling also leaned it out quite a bit since it was running very rich without it .
