Default Knock Sensor Question

I have a 94 Ls with a Jdm Gsr swap. When I originally got the swap I wa running a chipped P28. Now that I am running to the stock P72 I am getting a Code 23 for the CEL. My question is this: Since Ls motors don't have the knock sensor and the GSr does do I need to wire the knock sensor to the ecu just like I did with the vtec solenoid because I am still using the original LS harness? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

EDIT: I did do a search and couldn't find the answer to my question.

why not convert to OBDI? Rules out the knock sensor along with a few others and makes it possible to tune?

Oh that sucks. I don't have to worry about anything like that where I live so I don't think about things like that.
