knock sensor code (23)
i picked up a 96 integra ls auto that was converted to manual it has a 100% stock gsr in it. Long story short i picked it up and it had a ks (23) code. I pulled the motor and re gasket it while it was out i replaced the knock sensor but the code keeps coming back. Doesn't do it when at idle only after it has been driven awhile. I checked the wiring going to it and it looks fine any suggestions
I have changed ecu to see if that was the issue
i plugged in the verus at my work and show live data of the knock sensor which is showing that it is working fine. If i back out to check out live codes and it says there isnt any present codes but the light it on on the dash
I seen that my primary o2 sensor was dead showing no activity so I replaced it thinking it may be leaning the car out to much but it still came back on

feels fine no lose of power or anything. I haven't drove it in a month since I re did the motor but I drove it to work today and about a mile from work it came on checked the code (23) reset it even tried a different ecu
Ok looks like they never wired it up I looked at the pin out on the ecu and there is a red/blue wire that is cut so I will wire it up tomorrow. How could I get a reading off it if I wasn't wired up

The reading I was talking about is I have a verus scanner at work which plugs into the obd port and I was seeing live data on the knock sensor and it was showing movement. So how would I of got a ready off that if it isn't even wired to the ecu
