Hey I am looking at buying an integra and the guy said he has two keys for the car, one to open the car and one to start the car? Is this how all integra are or is this guy fishy? And how much would it be to get a key for everything?

 

he has either replaced the door locks or the ignition cylinder. This can be done for either a legit reason (i.e. the car was hit on the side and he put new doors on it) or for fishy reasons (i.e. the car is stolen and the ignition cylinder was replaced with one that he had keys for). Im not gonna say its one way or the other but just keep in mind that it could be for a legit reason, I suggest you just ask the seller about it. *shrugs*

did you ask him about it ? my brothers DA is like that, he has 2 keys. 1 opens the doors and turns on the car and the other just opens the doors but doesnt turn on the car lol its weird

thats how i got my car, im sure thats how alot of hondas are. cause propably 1/2 of them have had a screwdriver jammed in the ignition switch before.

 

My bet is on the ignition has been changed at one point. As long as the title is clear and not showing as stolen it doesn't really matter.

 

Yup my old da was like that theft recovery at some point i assume.
