just recieved ground control coilovers but..
i just recieved my ground control coilovers for koni shocks. I thought there is suppose to be a certain adapter so the item can be used with koni shocks. IN the box there is a black rubber thing, springs, coilovers sleeve and the adjustment **** around it. Is the coilovers suppose to be specially desinged or am i missing an item. Thanks.

You sure you specified GC's for Koni shocks when you ordered? Where did you buy them from? I believe there is supposed to be a piece that sits on that c-clip on the shock body instead of the spring perch, and then the sleeve sits on that piece.

At least with the bilsteins, the "adapter" is a silver metal collar inside of the red anodized sleeve. Dunno if the konis are the same way but might want to look for a silver ring on the inside of your sleeves.

The "adapter" is in fact part of the sleeve itself. It is the black metal ring inside the base of the sleeve. This ring allows the sleeve to come to rest on the locking O-Ring on the Koni Yellow shocks. There is really no seperate "adapter" piece that you will be looking for in the box, it is part of the coilover sleeve itself, so just go ahead and slap those things on there, you will love them.
If you have any questions about the install, send an IM my way,

Is any sort of "adapter" needed if you're pairing GC coilovers with AGX struts?
