hey everyone i just got refereed for cruising my car home from work. WTF. They told me that my ls jdm motor was illegal, regardles of the turbo and other stuff on there they want me to pay for another new motor thats non jdm. This is so gay. Anyway just thought i would share me dilema with you guys. So i go from 241hp back to 128 the sadest day of my life

 

well idk the rules in ca but in new york you can have a jdm motor as long as it has papers from the website. i was told this by an officer.

 

if u got the money, pay off the fine and you wont have to go to the ref

he was like that guy off of the new Mazda commercial, he heard you coming and put his ear on the ground, and then got a sniff of air.

He then came to the conclusion that it was a JDM b18b motor with a turbo. They have a write up on Team-Integra about it.

 

Howd he know its was JDM and not USDM without popping the hood ?

From the smell. j/k probably a lucky guess. At the station JDM was the word of the day.

More importantly how could he tell it was a JDM motor, I thought the USDM b18b/ JDM version were physically identical? It sounds like the OP admitted he had a JDM motor and fucked himself over in the process.
