Nitrous, pwns.

I'd start off with a 35 jet (hp), then slowly go up once u get use to it. I wouldn't suggest more than a 75, unless you want to get it tuned.

Ive seen an LS spraying a 100 shot. Dunno how long it lasted though. You should be fine with a 75 shot if it is tuned well, I would tune it regardless of the shot anyway. As far as the deal, thats about average.

you could always do a little DIY tuning to make the shot a little safer....like colder plugs, higher octane, and retard timing

True, but theres no way to read your A/F ratio which is crucial when running any F/I.

Im not a big fan of them. And for what you pay for one of those suckers you could spend quite awhile on a truly accurate dyno.

i spray a 50 shot weekly...i first started off with 35 shot..but got used to it then bumped it up to 50 and wat a difference..i get no traction however all through second so i mainly spray in 3rd when i open it up on the highway..its fun as hell..i managed to climb to 100 with a breeze on spray...its fun as hell but just be careful and maintain your car well so you get minimal wear and tear, such as get colder plugs, retard timing to the appropriate degree according to how much you spray, and if you decide to spray a 70-75 shot or more make sure you get a Fuel pressure regulator and maybe even a fuel pump...you dont want to lean out while sprayin, it will be disaster for your motor. 35-50 shot your much safer with IMO.

Zex has them, they call them nitrous/turbo plugs. http://www.zex.com Theyre cheap as ****, but really on/off when it comes to what people have to say about them. There also some called something like NGK BRK7E's or something of the sort. Search for them and Im sure they will come up.

Get COPPER spark plugs from any good spark plug brand...such as NGK..

if your timing is advanced 2 degrees , pull it back to stock if your gonna spray a 50 shot. definately get a new clutch, and while your at it, you might as well get a lightweight flywheel. Hey i see your from woodbridge, my cousin lives there..his name is Peter Bolton, i thought maybe you would be familiar with him since he knows alot of people in his neighborhood.

Newb Question What exactly is retarded timing? Why is it measured in degrees?

Second Newb Question When spraying Nitrous is there a certain time when you should spray?
-I dont know where I heard this but someone once told me that you shouldnt shift while spraying... any validity?

Retarding the timing means that the spark will ignite the mixture early in the compression stroke. It is measured in degrees because the rotor rotates directly in relation to the crank, which makes 360 degree rotations.

You should only spray at WOT, and above roughly 2700 rpm.

You shouldnt spray while shifting because the extra power will rev the engine up and bounce it off the rev limiter (as long as you have it wired to a WOT switch you will be fine), this will cut fuel, and there will be lots of nitrous without fuel in the combustion chamber, leaning out your engine and severely damaging it.

he graduated 03 as well...i forget what highschool he went to ..Prince william rings a bell..but that maybe just because he lives by a road called that...

anyway go with Exedy racing clutch...it has a stock feel to it and grabs very nicely and can hold much more power then the stock can.

lol not a big fan of wideband o2s? what... do you prefer narrowband o2s? really i want to know what your logic is behind the shittyness of widband o2s and "innacurate" dyno tuning.

Noob question>> would a VAFC help this? Also, if you had to do a wishlist of parts to add on, if your going to run a 75 shot... what would they be? Injecotrs, pump, fuel rail, regulator? or am I way off course?
