JDM Power folding mirrors - wired to ignition?
Hey HT, I'm wondering if anyone would know about wiring the JDM DC2 power folding mirrors to the ignition and have the ignition control when they fold out and in.
My plan was to use a a DPDT relay and splice them between the mirrors and the OEM relay, but I don't know what wire on the mirrors close and open them.
So does anyone know?
Thanks for the help.

Its not just one wire that does that, there separate.
The two extra wires you see coming out are what controls when the mirrors open and close.
You would have to wire up two relays, one to send power to the open signal wire when the ignition is on, then another relay to send power out when the ignition gets turned off.

Exactly, I'm asking which two wires are positive and negative. Your picture helps a lot, thanks.
So what you're saying is , both those wires are positive? and they share one ground?
I was going to use this diagram:

Im pretty sure both are positive, and make sure you cross the connections like in the diagram. If you wire them parallel one side is going to open while the other closes. The diagram looks like it should work but give it a test before if you can. (Simulate constant power and the ignition and make sure the output switches when you take the ignition source off.)
