Default JDM conversion questions

Recently my 1996 turbo ls was backed into, bending my stock core suppot, cracking my carbon fiber hood, and denting one of my fenders. I went to a few body shops and they quoted the damage to be around $2400. The driver of the other car is going to pay me cash because his insurance will drop him if he makes another claim. So I have $2400 to spend and a messed up front end.

When doing a jdm conversion do I need a special core support?
Will my intercooler piping need to be moved?
How much is the install of a kit like this with stock paint?
What else from my stock front end will be removed to put the jdm bumper on?

I can get a full fiberglass kit for around $1500 and replace the hood with carbon fiber for another $150. That leaves me with $750 for paint and install. Should that be enough?

Thanks for the help!!

Well there is a reputable shop around here that will do it for around $4500 and that includes, parts, paint, and install. But this is for the OEM metal conversion. I've read where people say not to go fiberglass due to fitment issues.
$750 might work if you plan on doing it yourself.

first off i wouldnt get the fiberglass jdm conversion, its just rought having a fiberglass body kit, because if u happen to scrub the ground or a speed bump or anythign it will crack, secondly i think they have to weld a new radiator support and do some other custom fabrication so i dont think 750 will do it, i believe that the front bumper, rad support, fenders and the hood are replaced with the convo.
i thnk that 2400 would be enough for a metal conversion kit, but i would imagine about 1500 worth of body work, but maybe someone with a jdm conversion will come along and give u some exacts, later
