I would suggest getting a 3 inch, 2.5 inch exhaust are even pretty small for some k setup's and when switching people have seen results from as much as 15 hp up top.

Car looks great tho i am seriously taking a project like this into consideration real soon. What did you get the motor and trans for if you don't mind me asking?

well i wanted to do 3" but the outlet on the header is only 2 1/4". So i dont think it would help that much. Plus it only revs to 7200 rpm not like a built K goin way past 8000. Plus its goin to be all mandrel bent so no kinks.

well its def a diff power band then a k in a J you may see more mid range im not sure yet since there isnt alot of data out there but the headers you have a prob meant to mate to a stock exhaust hence why its so small maybe there is different co's out there with larger collectors but im sure youll be good for now i def will keep checking you thread for updates
