Default Itr header problem

Ok i just install a ITR Replica Header on my 2000 Gsr, the motor has only a Skunk2 intake manifold and a cold air intake. The problem is when i drive it, it feels like i lost power ( No Check Engine Light on! ). Also when vtec hits it feels like it pulls back for a Sec. then the cold air intake does not sound loud like it use to. Thanks For your help!!

It depends, generally you will lose some low end power, however the problem might exist is if you have a bottle neck (like going from 2.5" to 1.8" piping).

That can do it. Previously it flowed straight through from the header to exhaust, now it hits that bottleneck and causes a reversion of exhaust gases back towards the head. Thus, you've killed off your exhaust velocity and added disturbance in the flow....thus a lack in power.....or so the *** dyno says.

for under a 200whp NA engine, 2.36" piping is fine, just make sure the merge from 2.5 to 2.36 is smooth.
