im assuming youre talking about the JDM 4-1 ITR header w/ 2.5"OD collecter, right? of course it will bolt to the engine ,but they were right about it not fitting the other end.
you need a 2.5" cat cut and welded to fit in the space. the itr 4-1 is longer and has a bigger collector than stock. all b-pipes are the same, its the header and cat that change in configuraion accross the model and generation.

Is there any issue with the ITR header fitting the LS motor height wise?

example the DC sports b16 99-00 si header will not fit on a GSR motor, its not tall enough.

but the ITR DC 4-1 with 2.5 collector will fit on the gsr motor no issues.

i blew my gsr motor up and have a 01 LS loaner and only have my DC ITR header. am i going to run into any issues with height? like the bottom hitting the oil pan like the b16 dc hits on the gsr motors?

the lengths of the exhaust A-pipe and Cat changes only for 94-99 GS-R's. Otherwise all the USDM exhaust components are the same lengths/heights.

you will have a problem with the length, not height, if your GSR is not an 00-01.
