ITB's OR CAMS?
i have a ls-vtec mild built
b18b1 block
b16 pistons
type r head
type r tranny
competition clutch
now my question is, i have a choice between skunk2 pro1's with valve train
or OBX itb's? which u think i could make the most power out of , and still daily?

if you're in the process of building an LS bottom end, do all you can to reinforce it. at least resize your stock rods to fit ARP rod bolts. main bolts/studs from them aren't a bad idea either. weigh all the rods with pistons and gram match before the motor is balanced on the spintron. doing so will have your builder using less weight on the crank to get the balance right.
one way you could gain some hp with the manifold you have it by cutting the back end off and doing a great port job, you then reweld the back flap. port match to the head and if done with at least a mild cartrage roll port job on the head, you'll have picked up a few hp.
as far as cams go. if it were my money i'd be using endyn bumpstix and the matching VT. the pro 1s are great, just really aggressive on valve guides. the bumpstix are more or less a copy of a jun3 with slight improvements. lots of dyno time to back up what they do exists. with a good tune and header 200whp is common on a jdm ITR. if you did any port work to the head and manifold it's likely you would best this number by a few hp.
actually, the more i think about it the more i think at least a low cost aftermarket rod is a good idea. something from scat or eagle perhaps. the rpms of this engine are just going to be going high. you'll be going to at least 9500 with bumpstix or pro 1s
