Default Internals

Ok guys, I'm running a 95' GSR motor in my EG6 and I'm just wondering how much HP and Torque will I make if I go Type-R pistons, CTR intake cam, Type-R exhaust cam and Type-R springs and retainers.

And I know I have to get it tuned.

you'll probably want to get a basemap of a ITR then get it tuned, using CROME if on a budget , hondata if ballin

So if I get an ITR ECU and chip that and also get it tuned I'll be good to go?

i'm not sure on the P30 but search, and check if that is chippable. I think you can also check phearable.net ? But if it is chippable then, yes you can chip it and get it tuned

there is a difference between a chip and a tunable ECU. A chip is a pre programed map not specific for your car that changes the ecu. A tune programs the ECU specifically to your car and mods.

you can use the ecu that you have now if you wanted. you would have to send it to be socketed and chipped w/ a base map for your car though. read:
