Hi i am planning to go boost on my 01 gsr. I was wondering what is the recommended size for an intercooler w/o doing a lot of modifications.

 

i would say about a 6" high intercooler would make it so u don't have to cut ur bumper support or anything. Either way, you will probably have to mod/trim something (inside bumper or inside grill) to get any sized intercooler in there. Cutting a bumper support is the biggest pain though.
