Default Integra w/tein s-techs, too low?

Ok, I sourced some Tein S-Techs for my 95 integra sedan in hopes to somewhat raise my car because I had H&R Sports which were a tad bit too low for me as of right now. I've seen other integra's with S-Techs with a much more subtle drop than what I have on my sedan. My set-up is just the s-techs with tokico illuminas. My struts have less than 5K on them and they are still good because I just swapped out the springs last night. How am I this low with these springs, or is this how they sit?? Here are some pictures:

it looks good at where its at, but how are the streets that you drive on a regular basis? If they are filled with potholes and bumps, you might want to consider raising it up a bit.

Could they possibly be put on backwards? The back look a little high compared to front.

Hermmmmm....

My bro's DA had S-techs on it with tokico blues and it set like this. Could have been H-techs but I cant remember what the difference is, I know they were one of the two.

The streets I drive on are pretty rough, thats why I switched from the H&R Sports to the S-Techs in hopes of it being a tad bit higher, but it didn't make a difference.

I don't think the back is supposed to be lower than the front anyways. The drop on the s-techs are supposed to be 2.5" Front and 1.7" Rear.

Ya good idea and then you can bounce even more! Stupid.

Why would he buy quality shocks and garbage coilover sleeves?

I know a few people who bought ebay's and good shocks and they don't bounce everywhere. Not everyone has money.

How did they manage to purchase good shocks w/o money? It's called saving

Stechs look nice on the teg, a bit too low in front imo. X2 on ride quality?

I feel its "slammed" for lowering springs and then again, they're also stechs, i didn't expect it to be this low. The ride is rough when my struts are set to maximum stiffness (5) and it bottoms out like crazy on softess setting (1). There's no nice or bearable ride I can deal with because the roads I drive on daily are rough. I also have a baby on the way, so I'm trying to find the most comfortable ride for my baby when he arrives. I'm debating to go back to stock springs for the remainder of the year, wait for my tax returns next january and purchase some full bodied coilovers. Any opinions????

I have good shocks, Tokico Illuminas, with good springs, H&Rs and Teins, but I just didnt expect a drop this low especially with the teins.

Use rubber spring spacers in the front to gain back some height. Cheapest fix.

Installed, they look similar to this (black piece above the spring):

It just spaces the spring from the perch, lifting the vehicle.

Hmm, do you have personal experience with these? And where to purchase? I already put my stock springs back on, but if these rubber spacers are decent, I might go back!

If you're looking for a real comfortable ride, I would search up on Eibach Pro-kit. There drop is about an inch all around. People were loving those springs on their civics. I would imagine they would be the same for the DC. There is also Tein H-tech

oh and get the Civic s-techs if you can, ride is more comfortable. you sacrifice performance but if you're like me, you just drive your car and aren't track racing it anyway haha

the tein h-tech is MUCH stiffer than the pro kit. the h-tech is in fact a fairly sporty spring with rates of 300F and 250R, the drop is similar with a slight bit more in the front. imo the pro kit is way way too soft in the back. also, the above black teg is more in line with what i see s techs sitting at. got me why the op's car is so low unless he bought second hand cut s techs. the black car is a great example of tein getting the stance and spring rate right. the h techs are the same way just a little higher and slightly softer.

I did get the springs in a trade, but they aren't cut as I inspected the springs before hand. It just stumps me why my car is this low. Once I sell the s-techs and my h&r sports, I'm going with the eibach pro-kit.

the back looks a little high.. and i havent seen teins drop this low..
try swapping the fronts to the rears and see how that works.
