Icon4 Integra turned off while on the freeway

I was going around 60 and suddenly when I stepped on the gas nothing and noticed my car was off. There where warning lights on the odometer and the only thing I notice was the check engine light was not on, from what I remember the oil light turned on. I put it in neutral and I just cruised to the exit and into a parking lot. Turned the engine to off position and was like WTF just happened. Waited a second and tried to turn it back on and it turned on like nothing and no warning lights on the odometer, just like normal. I turned it back off and popped the hood, nothing out of the ordinary, I checked the oil since that light turned on when it died on me and it was good. I turned it back on and once again, turned on like nothing. After that I took the streets home. It’s been a few weeks now and I’m scared of driving it. While it sits there I turned in on a few times. First time it was a few days later and I turned it on but it was struggling like some clicking but tuned on eventually. After that I turned it on three more times and each time it was normal. I even drove it around my apartment complex. The AC is now out. Any ideas of what the issue may be? I just replaced the a spark plugs, wires, distributor/rotor and it hour around 185K miles on her.

Maybe your fuel kill switch or the main fuel relay?

Possibly a loose battery terminal check if they are both tight.

Probably not the battery terminals in IMO, Sounds like a fuel issue but usually you would get a CEL, were you low on fuel by chance? If you suspect a wiring issue I would carefully inspect wiring under the drivers side dash and ensure there are no loose connections, same for under the hood and ECU.

Gotcha, if it happens again please report any other symptoms or conditions that might be if interest. I’m by no means an OG but I’ve been wrenching on these Honda’s for a bit and it’s happened to me a few times. Hope that helps.

Have you checked the battery terminals?

Did you figure out what it was? Similar thing was happening to me, turned out it was my ICM in the distributor, previously my coil had given me the same problem.

Please help the community out by posting what you found, thanks!

I'd put my money on Ignition Coil (replace the whole distributor assembly rather than just the coil, IMO), Main (fuel) relay switch, and fuel pump.

Continuously running the car with less than 1/4 tank of fuel, can make the fuel pump fail prematurely.

Haven't replaced my fuel pump, and car has 250,000 miles on it. Got the car at 140k miles.
