i recently bought a 94 Integra. with 116xxx on it. its an automatic LS. after driving for the week i realized that when the car is cold, and when u put it in reverse theres a big jerk or jolt. only when you shift to reverse. when you put to drive its fine. after the car warms up though, that jolt goes away when you put it in reverse. i know it might be the transmission, and something with the reverse solenoid or something but anyone have similar problems? the fluid looks clean, and full. should i try a different kind of fluid to see if anything will help?
i have the same problem
and now when am in the highway and i de-accelerate around 80-60mph it makes a whinding sound not sure what it is
does any one know? i planned on converting it to stick so now my ?question is does anyone have any b series trans with shift linkage or a whole b series eng n trans swap 4 sell in da chicago area let me
thanks

I just bought a 94 Integra Auto as well. Has the same problem. When cold start, put into reverse and it gets 1900 rpm. When put into reverse, it will get big jerk. After warm up, it is no this problem. I tried to clean the FITV, seem help a lot. At least, I see the rpm will drop from 1900 rpm to 1500 rpm within 10 second. Also, when shift to reverse, not that big jerk before. Hopefully, other people can give some more infomations about it. Thanks
My guess would be the motor mounts. I would switch out the mounts and see if this fix it. I had a friend with a similar issue. He swap out his old motor mounts for new ones, and the problem went away.
