Hey i was wondering if there was anyone here good at diagnostics. I'm have problems with my car, you the thing is when i was driving yesterday my car turned off on me and wasnt able to start until 15 mins later my bro started messing with my alarm cuz he thought it was the starter kill, but im sure it was not it, but the car turned on, later that night same **** happened another 15+mins pass by im able to start my car again, ANY IDEA WHAT IT MIGHT BE? is it possibly my o2 sensor cuz when i put in my dC headers my friend cut the o2 wire so he can extend it and sometimes it pops an engine code, so im thinking it might be too rich in fuel please help i would really appreciate it

 

The O2 sensor won't keep the car from starting. You need to narrow it down to a fuel or spark problem. On the fuel side, it could be your main fuel relay (MFR), and on the ignition side, it could be a faulty coil or ignitor in the distributor.

 

do you think it could be my fuel pump cuz i got another main relay and same problem occured so i replaced my distributor it fired up like a brand new car but after like 30 mins it turned off on me again
