Integra starting issues?
I have an 01 Integra AT and sometimes it doesn't want to start or turn over usually after decently long drives and a short stop. Example I drove it for about 45 mins and stopped at the gas station and it didn't want to start after that. Its trying to turn over and seems to being getting fuel. Where should I start to diagnose it? Thanks.

As mentioned, PGM-FI Main Relay.
Also the coil, ICM and fuel pump are all susceptible to heat failure.
The simple first test is to listen for the fuel pump priming, when engine will not start, turn ign. to the run position, [not all the way to start] and listen for the fuel pump it should run for no more then a few sec., if not, the problem is most likely the PGM-FI Main Relay and an easy fix in most cases as the link points out.
If on the other hand, you do hear the fuel pump running, cycle the ign. 3-4 times without trying to start the engine, turn on, wait until fuel pump stops priming turn ign. off then on again, do this 3-4 times then try and start the engine, if that works the fuel pump is the problem. [weak].
If not the above then spark is the problem, an HEI spark tester should be used to check for spark, [they can be had for about $10-$15, testing without one can damage the coil and is not accurate regardless. 94

The first thing I would do is replace the cap and rotor, then plugs and wires. If you're looking for an inexpensive way try cleaning the inside of the rotor with a dry cloth, particularly those four little silver stubs.
I'd start with the cap and rotor first. Then check your plugs, replace if necessary, as well as wires.

I replaced the plugs when I bought the car in April. I think I should try the wires and clean the distributor. Its just odd that it runs and starts flawless except if I make a stop and turn it off for a short period of time, thats when the starting issue occurs. It chugs like it wants to turn over so I think its not a fuel issue. I also noticed I have been getting really poor fuel economy in the past few weeks not sure if its tied to the issue or if its just winter time taking a toll on my gas mileage.
