Default integra problems PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

ok to start out my car ran good(96 integra se)...but i decided to do a tune up, so i did the plugs,wires,cap,rotor...after i did all that i didnt get any spark...so i put all my original stuff back in to see if that was the problem and still no spark..so i did some research on here and found out that it might be my ignition coil, so i took the one out of my 95 civic ex, my car started and ran but it didnt have any power, i mean i would floor it and take it to 7grand but it wouldnt pick up..so i went down and bought a brand igniton coil ($97)and still now power, o yah and it makes a loud whistling noise out of my intake, i have no idea what the problem is , and before i put it in the shop and pay someone an assload of money i would like to see if you guys could help me solve this problem myself.. thank you all in advance..

a whistle coming from the intake sounds like it would be a vaccum problem which i believe would cause a problem with power, in your case not having any power. there is a chance that you could have damaged one of the hoses while doing the tune-up, so check that. the easiest thing to do is just to find the vaccum leak and temporarily wrap it in electrical tape then test drive it. good luck

The firing order is 1-3-4-2. The #1 cyl. is the one closest to the pulleys.
