Integra Performance question
I have 3 integra's and very sure on the performance on my cars. Does intake and headers perform well on stock integra cars? or any other aftermarket parts. It's made to improve and increase performance-horses, but I added i/h/e and it seems like my car has a louder engine sound, but seems to be weaker?
I have searched for answers here, but not seemed to get a good answer. JW thanks

The quality of the componets sometimes will give you different increases. Also, some componets don't work as well with others as another might. Even with I,H,E your not really going to see a dramatic increase in power...but you should be able to notice a small change. Try a good search to find out what others have said about their setups for better info. on what to run on yours. Good luck. You can also just ask around to some people who have added mods such as yours and see if they were happy. The first mods I did were AEM cold air intake, dc header and custom 2.5 pipe with test pipe and greddy muffler. I seemed to get a fairly noticable increase...but not a major one.
keep in mind that hp gains are not constant...you could dip below stock at lower rpm's, then surpass stock at higher rpms... So yes to your question...if may seem more sluggish city driving. Letting it wide open will allow you to feel the full potential.
keep in mind that adding more air causes the ecu to run at higher injector duration, which in turn cause the engine to run alot leaner esentially making it weaker at certain rpms. i would get tuned(every car needs to get tuned) or an a/f controller.
expect more hp gains across the entire Rpm range, expect the car to pull more linear. expect to be more happy
