I have a 94 integra dirt track race car it has the b16 in it and we are not allowed to run vtecs no more I just picked up an old crx race car that has a b18 in that was out of a 91 integra was thinking of putting it in my 94 will this be a direct bolt up im new to the honda world all help is appreciated thanks

 

yes. more TQ not much but "more" but you won't have VTEC unless its a B18C1/C5.

 

Is it a pretty simple swap

 

i've never heard of any issues between b16/18/20

 

This b18 has a tuned computer stage 1 cams and 70mm throttle body now with the acura computer will I run into any issues not being tuned ?

 

it will run like ****...and is not a good idea so why not just use the ECU that comes with it.

 

They plugins are differnt

 

I fail to see how that is possible considering the ONLY WAY you can have a "chipped ECU" is on obd1 which your car is...or the guy is a ******* idiot and is just spouting stuff by the sounds of it.

 

So I hate sounding like an idiot but then do u think I will be fine doing the motor swap?

 

Just wanna clear this up a bit the motor is out of a 91 Integra heads milled 30 thousands stage one cams and 70mm throttle body right now its in a 88crx and I wanna put it in my 94 integra do I need a tuned computer?
