my 98 gsr started leaking engine coolant today. when i open my hood i notice some was on my hood and there was a good amount at the bottom of the coolant bottle. i had a front end accident recently. nothing serious but maybe it was enough to crack something therefore causing the coolant to spill? but the accident was about 1-2 weeks ago and it started leakin today so im not sure its because of that. what do you guys think is makin it leak?

 

yeah its prolly because of that...when you were hit...cracked it a little...then overtime the heat just expanded it to the point of leakage!

 

how do you think i should go about to check where its leaking. take off my bumper?

 

take of the radiator.....first drain it completely take it off of the car, and then flush it w/ a hose to completely fill it, then plug back the thing to you took out to drain it, and you should see where it is leaking...hope that helps
