Integra doesn't pull even when stepping on gas
Hey guys, so I have an issue, I have a 94 Integra Sedan with a obd-1 gsr swap
-One morning, turned it on, and drove and felt like the car was struggling and couldn't go past 3k rpm or so even when stepping on the gas the whole way
-Tried to hop on the highway and it wouldn't go above 60 mph, but speedometer and tach did not jump but moved at a regular pace
-When I step on it, my car feels like only 1 cylinder is worker and is louder than usual and i got 98 miles to half a tank on premium
-Anyone have this issue? Please give me some input. Thanks
p.s. New spark plugs, spark plug wires, dizzy, cam seals (other seals too), clutch is probably 1 1/2 years old, and fresh rebuilt trans 2 months ago
-I've had people suggest that it could be my clutch or trans but then also that it could be a clogged catalytic converter??

check the cat. when my cat converter took a dive it felt like i had an anchor in the back and was running on 3 cyls.
take a rubber mallet to the cat and see if you hear any rattles etc. or take off cat and take a look inside you should be able to see light through the otherside.

Just did my timing belt, so I'm hoping it's just the cat.
Should I get a new cat or a test pipe?

went to meineke and they did the cat test and it's perfectly fine. Got AAA this morning and towed my car back to my place so it's safe in my driveway. Getting a buddy to check up on it.
In the meantime...just changed the oil and filter

I agree with the others.Look into the cat situation and inform us of any CEL codes.I will also considering taking a look at a bad/ clogged injectors, bad/clogged fuel filter and fuel pumps and also for a bad distributor. If you think it's internal, then go ahead and do a leak down and compression anyways.Better to know than not to know. What ecu running anyways?
Finally someone having the same problem im having...when i first take off everything is fine maybe a stutter here and there but once it warms up it goes into this mode where it goes to about 3-3.5k and seems to redline and getting it to even get that high takes awhile. but if i turn the car off and restart it, it will have power again for a couple mins but then all of a sudden no power again. the idle is fine no jumps but if it sits for too long it just cuts off...i drive a 92 ls with 165k miles not able to put alot of money into finding out whats wrong tho...any ideas? im deff a noob when it comes to my car i probably have only put about 600 miles on it since i bought it but any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
it could be one of your fuel/air ratio components: O2 sensor, MAP sensor, timing, ECT (coolant sensor), also fuel filter or fuel pump. some easy things to do are check for vacuum leaks by idling car and spraying throttle body cleaner around the vacuum hoses, and make sure you have enough coolant, get the air bubbles out.
No CEL codes came on, that's the weird part. But I'm gonna make sure my bulb isn't blown or something
I checked for leaky injectors, but I thought my car sounded like it was sputtering before...like a bad fuel leak. Got a brand new dizzy not too long ago though. Chipped ECU on a base map by EmDot
I'll let you know when I get to stop by my friend's shop cause I'm in school full time and need to get more time. Exams this week unfortunately.
haha I know I know. If it was a bad cat, I was gonna go and find a header, test pipe and redo my exhaust...but no need to yet.
What kind of throttle body cleaner is good and safe?? Timing was checked
