Default Intake Setup

Ok I was going to go with AEM cai intake! But my friend told me to just get a cheap pipe with a k & n filter. So I went to autozone and got a cheap pipe. The guy told me that the k & n filters are about 90$ so I just put on a cheap one they had to fit the pipe is this ok for now? Until I get the k & n? Suggestions please!

go w/ comptech's ice box, then just fit the K&N onto the oem intake, give you the performance w/o the ricey noise, k&n should not cost that much, order it online!!

Yes. Dont buy the Icebox, its more or less a factory spec intake box for $400

Ok sweet i'll just stick with the pipe I got now and throw a k & n filter on it how much hp gain do you guys think I will get?

Also when I put the pipe on I had a huge piece of rubber that came out off the main pipe and it really gave me some huge HP gains!
