Ok so i bought a 1990 Integra a month ago. There is a cold air intake in it but i don't know the brand. The intake has the breather tube going to the valve cover but there are two vacuum tubes coming from the intake manifold that are just sitting there. I can't feel anything coming from one but the other i can feel significant suction.
My question is this, Do any other CAIs utilize these tubes or not. I was thinking about getting AEM but i don't want to pay for something that might be the same thing. If i could just get some names or even pictures i would very much appreciate it. I tried searching but i didn't find what i was looking for.
Thanks in advance.

One is the tube that goes from the intake arm to the valve cover, it was just replaced, but the other, smaller tube should also connect to the intake arm somewhere...

Yea, there is only the one going to the valve cover. If another brand has it set up where i can hook up the other tubes or even the one with suction I would apreciate it if i can get some names or pics. Thanks.
How many inlets does your CAI have?
I remember when I got a SRI for my 91 DA, that it only had two. One for the breather hose from the intake to the valve cover, and another for a hose from the IM to the intake. However, like you stated, there are two hoses that come from the IM that need to be connected to the intake. If your intake has this problem, just purchase a t-connector so that you can hook up the two hoses through the single inlet.
Pictures will allow for better help though.

I was going to take some pics but it is raining today. If it lets up to where i can do it i shall post some tonight. I would keep it the way it is if it worked good but i think it is affecting the engin. When i stop some times it acts like it is going to die and the tach jumps between 500 and 1k rpm.
really this is an easy question, what intakes out there that people have are equiped with a cai that has more than one inlet? If none answers by wed i think im going with AEM.
Thanks.

The AEM has 2 inlets on the pipe, one for the breather, and one for the dashpot. I hate the one for the dashpot though, it's a tiny *** little hole, you have to use one of their little rubber grommets, stick it in there, and make sure you don't push it through when you're attaching everything. The other hose the AEM comes with is to route coolant so you can replace that little metal hose connector that used to be used by your breather.
