Default intake experts... need help....

got this on jay smith's teg.
i know some of you dont like the guy but
i was really interested in the air filter he has hooked to the factory air tube
personally i was thinking of a AEM CAI but i live in a flood zone down here...

so i was looking into something similar to the one he has.
it looks like a spoon but then spoon is yellow
also taught it was comptech?!?!?

p.s. yes i searched he's specs on the teg. and he says monsterflow but its totally different.

anyone got an idea?

thanks in advance...

yep, just like stated above, he took the box out and added the filter, or even a spoon style insert with a green filter would work.. either or.. just depends on how much you want to spend..

it was a Rs then he welded a JDM front clip to the Rs body and did all the motor work.

Who the **** would want to weld on a JDM front clip???? Most of the time especially 6 years ago (i know this because this guy from my work ordered one) when you order a JDM motor they just send you the whole friken front clip of the car in a big crate. It includes everything even a stearing wheel!!!

thanks for the input man... im leaning towards the icebox and maybe the apexi... seems like alot of people are satisfied with the icebox's performance more though.
