Default Intake/ ECU question...

Ive already done a search.

Do you ever have to reset the ECU after installing a short ram intake?

Im pretty sure there is another way to reset the ECU besides disconnecting the negative from the battery.

You can alos reset the ECU by pulling the !5 amp ECU fuse in the fuse box under the hood.
My theory on resetting the ECU is that the computer takes readings of the air flowwhen you first start teh car and stores them for use over and over again when ajusting the air/feul curve. By pulling the fuse, you reset the "program" so it reprograms itself with the higher air intake volume when you start eh car. Therby, utilizing your intake more completely.

Just my theory.
