Impression of Redline MTL
I changed my tranny fluid last week from Honda MTL to Redline MTL. It's been 400km or so, and I feel no difference. It feel exactly the same. I've read that Redline needs to be "broken in" for 1000 miles or so (according to my 'search').
In the past I've been experiencing some grinding going into 3rd and 5th (at higher rpms). Upon doing some searching, a lot of the H-T guys said that Redline eliminated that problem for them. I guess it was just wishfull thinking on my part that I would recieve the same benefits... but alas... I guess its just time for a new tranny.

My shifting definetly felt smoother after switching to Redline MTL
Supposidly you gain 1-2whp from switching to synthetic motor & tranny oil, due to the less friction. But thats nothing you are going to feel on the butt dyno.

Ya, for sure it's my synchros... I was just hoping I could temporarily get rid of this problem.
By not feeling anything different I was referring to the shifting.
Funny thing... when I first got the tranny fluid changed to Honda MTL (when I bought the car, it was used), the clutch and shifting felt really different. The clutch felt like it had a better response (stiffer) and the shifting felt better.
A question... does Redline really take time to "break in"????
Thanks guys.
