Immediate off throttle problems...
Hi,
I just bought a used 1990 Acura Integra LS. I am very familiar with Hondas and their engines, but this is my first B series... The trouble I am experiencing is that when I go to shift a gear and let off the gas and push the clutch in the rpms stay constant for about 1 sec. instead of immediately dropping off. I've narrowed the problem down to the actually throttle body area. When you snap the throttle open and let go it kind of sticks and then closes. Is this a common problem, and is there an easy fix. Any help or suggestions would be great... my thinking now is that I should just take the throttle body off and clean everything really well and see what happens. What do you think?
Thanks,
Conor M.
