Default Ignition problem?

I have a 91 Teg RS, I up keep it as best I can and have it tuned up on time when its supposed to, there are no engine mods to it, so its butt *** stock, only cosmicitic mods, today after class I tried to start my car up and it would wind up and then bog off, I checked the spark plug wires and distrubutor and they were all plugged in, I then put it into first gear and then started the car, it worked, this has never happened before, and I'm wondering what the problem might be, My first guess is the main fuel relay needs to be replaced, but I havent checked because I need to go to work in 10 min, just wanted a few other opinions on what it might be.

if your car is v tec then check the wires. my hatch had the same problem. it was hard to start and i thot it was the ignition or the spark plugs. but then i realize that my v tec wasnt kickin in and then i fix it. after i fixed it, it worked fine. i not really sure if it would work on your motor becus mine was a b16. jus a thot.

Im having problems with my main relay now. They say it helps to unbolt it and let it hang b/c it stays cooler that way, i also cut some holes into the brown housing to help it stay cool. This is untill i can get a new one.

Learned a new trick, if yoiu have a bad ignition switch try starting the car and tapping on the ignition switch with a wrench or something. This helps a bit.
