I just put on a Blox intake manifold but still using stock throttle body so the cable is sticking up high and hitting the hood. I was having problems with the idle but I finally got it around 750 on start-up, but once I drive and like stop at a stop light or anywhere it idles at 1300... Think its maybe binding on the hood and getting stuck a little? I have a boost gauge and at idle the vacuum is 20, so I dont think that I have a vacuum leak...Could it be IACV?

holy ********! i got a blox IM too. and have crazyy idle problems too! idles at damn 2k and wont stop! i cant find any solutions to it.

 

i am havin crazy jumpy idle with my da and i dont have vacuum leaks either. i am gonna look at my IACV this weekend. usually, those are what causes all the strange idle problems. besides, it probably wouldnt hurt to clean it anyways cause it yall both have 94s anyways.

 

Still need help, on cold starts it bogs like crazy and I have to give it gas and hold it at like 1500 to get it to warm up a little before I go anywhere...I changed my IACV to the one I had on before I changed the IM but that didnt help at all, I even cleaned it really good... I need help cuz I hate doing this every start-up
