Idle problem.....
97 GSR in a DA, the idle is a bitch. When its cold it'll act normally, idle high, but its a little bouncy. When it gets warmed up it'll bounce up and down and then it'll find its spot after awhile. When I blip the throttle it'll come back down and start bouncing again, sometimes low enough to die. I opened my fitv and screwed the thing all the way in, and i cleaned my iacv. my tps seems off, but im not too sure. Isn't the tps supposed to be somewhere in the middle not way off clockwise when looking at it? I think thats the culprit to my problem but I dont wanna accidently break it when im hitting it back.
Im having the same problem with my car its 95 gs with a b20 non vtec engine sometime it wont even start on less i put my foot on the gas while turning the key too.. what did u do to solve ur problem
I solved it by probing the middle tps to positive, and the other one to ground with a volt meter, and I hit it witha piece of wood and mallet until it got to .5 on closed throttle and 4.8 on wide open throttle. Remember to have the car in the II position.
