IAT Code 10 CEL error
Hi guys, I hope someone can help me here. I have done a lot of searches and some have helped as I have been able to eliminate some factors but still face the same problem.
Not having much luck with my car at the moment. I keep getting the code 10 IAT error. I have replaced the sensor with brand new Honda oem part, after reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 12 hours or so.
I have checked the voltage on the plug that plugs into the IAT sensor, and it gives a reading of 4.97v (this is on ignition only), when engine is started, it gives a reading of approx 1.87v
I have even rewired the IAT sensor, taken a direct power feed to the ECU (connected to IAT wire (red and yellow)) and earthed it to the battery. I reset the ecu again but after driving for say 20 mins the CEL light comes on again.
I have a JDM Integra 96-98 model running OBD2. Any help much appreciated.
Sorry for the long thread but I thought if I included what I have done so far it may enable people to give me better answer.
Many thanks
KP
