okay heres my situation.. im 17 and i know barely anything about my car compared to u people. my uncle is an acura mechanic so he can help me work on my car and teach me stuff, but i need help figuring out what kind of stuff i can do to my car to make it faster... i got I/H/E all done, but thats it. i got a 90 Teg LS wit 115k. i knew enough that i/h/e needed to get done but now im kind of stuck as to what to do next for the best hp gains. i was thinking clutch/flywheel, pulleys, and just a major tuneup... anyone got any suggestions? thanks

 

How much money do you have? A different tranny would be nice. Maybe some cams + tuning?
What suspension mods do you have currently?

 

buy a b16a and put the pistons and vtec head on your b18 it will be more power than ls cams for almost the same money

 

i have about $1k.. my uncle told me that my suspension is shot and we'll have to put new control arms and trailing arms in and im going to throw in some springs and shocks while im at it. i dont know how much that will put me at... a few people from nonvtec.com told me to rebuild my motor and put in like higher compression pistons and stuff like that but im really clueless on what i would need for that and how much it would cost. my uncle can do all the work and teach me though.

 

Your best bet would be to get a b16 tranny w/lsd. With your options, its the best bang for the buck.

Or save and piece together a turb kit.
