Default I need advice quick!!

I have a 93 honda civic dx hatch. I am swapping in a b18b motor. The shop I am getting it from has a 94 integra for 1000.00, they also have a 99 motor for 1000.00. With the 94 he has the stock ecu, and for the 99 he does not have the stock ecu but the spoon ecu, he says the spoon ecu for the 99 is gonna be 300.00 extra, and the wiring for the 99 is not gonna be plug in play but is gonna take some rewiring. I know the price for either motor is good but what one sounds better to all of you smart people her at honda-tech????????????? Is 300 for a spoon ecu worth it and is it any different than a stock ecu. I thought since it was an integra motor you guys in the integra forum could help.

id say it depends on the mileage, if there the same, go with the 94 its easier unless you know how to do the wiring

My dad is the one who stopped off at the shop and asked about the motors and neglected to ask how many miles each had. If they are both out of the car how can you tell how many miles each one has? carfax or something??
