I must be the only one that would DD a Type R. I don't see the point of buying a car if you only plan on driving it a couple of times a year. I know it would be high up on a thiefs list, but thats why you get a tracking device and a garage.

Personally ive daily driven all of my cars, but i really cant see the point in buying a stock type r for a ridiculous sum of money, i'd much rather just buy an LS and dump the 10k into it, and have it perform and look better than any stock itr. Unless you just want an R because its an R

a type r is just a really pretty gsr hands down.the type r is cool you get some nice badges some cool (steal me im a type r)side stickers a nice spoiler(that every ricer slaps on there ls/gsr) some cool seats (wow red stiching worth a couple more grand right) cool cluster five lug nice intake manifold a nice stock header some crappy looking carbon fiber console crap i mean come on whats not to love about the type R its the butch version of the gsr you just get red emblems so people know ur fast. everything on the R can go right on the gsr idk about you but spending that much money on a car with no sunroof no radio and is a little lighter and a lil faster is kinda dumb its like buying a rs thats fast.....for 10k buy a car thats worth it im a honda guy but i would never drop 10k on any honda unless jessus him self was in the engine bay powering my wheels.....buy a wrx/evo

The point of the question is if you would be happy driving an ITR the way Honda engineers designed it or if you would rather attempt to build a faster, better car on your own. I'm not considering an ITR, I know it wouldn't make sense to spend big money on a mint one and then DD it. The question is hypothetical. Removing all the practicalities from the equation, which car would you rather drive. That's it.

hands down the ITR. all you would use the 10 g's for is if you wanted to race it. my 2 cents

I Respect everyones ideas. But I would pick up an ls for cheap and spend rest of the money to build it! Ive seen just a simple ls/vtec keeping up with the ITR. And you know your car better when YOU build it! Check out this thread

I'd get the Type R because simply just because it's a Type R.

I can always get a LS later. (Even though I already have one, but lets just pretend)

boost the LS if you like and fix the little issues and make it your own. done and done.

get the *ITR* i own two 1998 cw #1127 and 2000 fbp #1292 i will say of course the itr its just a better car all around you will love it trust me lol if you have a chance to get one get it you can always get a ls integra but not always an itr just my thoughts good luck!
