Huge Door Problem
k, here's the problem.. I tried to get into my car today.I put the key in the door, turned it, n i heard a little snap. The door then refused to open. I have a feeling that its the locking mechanism. This problem has happend to me before but on the passenger side. wasn't really a big deal, just got it replaced, n thats it.. but this time, i cant even get the door open. Is there anyway to get the door open, so that i can get the door panel off?

wow man, lower that ish!!
but on a more serious note..take of the door handle from the inside and see if you can mess around with the bars in there, maybe something came disconnected and you can just at least get the door open..

Dude seriously.. dont get offended but its childish to get embarrased over something that doesnt mean ****...
Just cause u have to go in through the other door doesnt mean a god damn thing... and if someone else thinks that means something then they have a maturity problem...
What happend to your drivers side door is that theres a metal bar thats held on by a plastic pressure piece.... when u lift ur handle the handle pushes down on that bar which unlocks ur door at the latch.
U need to go in through ur passenger side foor. Open the drivers side door. Take off the door panel. and get a new plastic piece from acura or find a way to make sure that it stays stuck on there... but once u open it there will probably be a metal bar just leaning on something cause it came off the handle... if i had time right now i would show u exactly what im talking about in the helms but it will be straight foward when u open it up.
Good luck... and seriously dude... were all the same... no one is better than anyone else.... the more you learn about cars and life the more ur going to realise that material things are [freak]ing worthless...
Good luck

i think the whole point of his post is that he cant get the door open at all, not even from the inside of the car..which means he cant get the door panel off
