Default how to replace the clutch

Hi,

Lately i am feeling a shudder when i let go of the clutch in the first & second gear on my 94 integra ls. what might be the problem ? is my clutch going bad or something else ?
Is there any manual or step by step procedure on doing the clutch ?

how hard is it to replace the clutch by myself. how much the dealer charges to replace the clutch ? should i go for a oem clutch or one from autozone or some aftermarket performance one.

your suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I could view it just fine w/o setting up an account.

Your best bet is to get a Helms manual. It lists every step with illustrations in detail.

Also, I HIGHLY recommend a tranmission jack. After doing 2 clutch jobs where I had to bench-press the tranny housing, a trans jack would make the job a million times easier, with less chances of injuring yourself.

ive had to do the same 3 times lol. its not easy so if youve got the money go for the jack. if not than its still very doable without one.

My chest was hurting after installing my brother's clutch, and that was just a D16 tranny.
