alright i've been trying to get rid of my gsr but i dont want to get rid of it. i love this car. I think trying to get around 11 is fair but my friends tell me i should try to get more??? its a 01 GSR and has around 99k on it and the body is pretty decent/bad not bad in the sense of dents and stuff but the paint on the front bumper is pretty bad but thats about it. the bottom of the bumper where the intercooler is, is chipping pretty bad

i doubt anybody would pay $11k for that since it has high miles and a turbo. where the heck did you get a metal itr wing? never heard of a metal one.

Really heavily modded cars are a bear to sell. You have to find the right guy. You might be able to squeeze 11k, it's just hard to say. I was trying to sell my vette for awhile, paid 11k for it, put 21k in it and was asking 15k...still have it. Oh well, it's fun to race. All you can do is keep it on craigslist and get the word out. Have stickers made that say forsale with your number. Ebay at worst but it's rare you get top dollar there. Vintage and or rare cars are about the only thing that go for a good buck on ebay.

I think you would be better off selling it stock then selling your turbo kit + other mods. 11k seems pretty high for a car thats turboed and isn't even dyno tuned.

i also have a gm 3 bar map sensor at home, a virgin p28, and a obd2b to obd1 harness i have bunch of parts laying around like brembo rotors, new break pads, more dsm injectors and other stuff laying around in my garage and at my friends shop

Id say for our area with it tuned you would be looking more a long the lines of $9,000 maybe more if you find the right buyer.

11 for a 01 GSR boosted isn't bad. It's just hard for people 2 get loans for 11 if the bluebook on the car is like 8. U still can't get a 01 GSR and boost it for 11. All u need is the right person.

You did keep stock parts right? In which case you can ebay the turbo kit, wheels etc and still get 8-9k for the GSR, assuming you can switch it back over to completely stock.

Going price on AutoTrader.com is 6000-12000.

The average GSR with close to 100K miles going for 9k.

I would suggest a part out. You will make more $$$ from the part out.

I agree with the part out. If you can get your hands on some stock parts, just the exhaust even you have some bucks. You would have no problem trading your complete exhaust plus cash to a guy with a stock GSR wanting to upgrade. You will get more in the long run if you want to mess with it. I sold my stock GSR springs and shocks to a guy doing just that for $100, worth it though as his suspension was worth a lot more and buyers rarely want to pay for mods. Your kind of screwed with it being designed as a turbo car though. You can't really start un bolting stuff without screwing up the car. 9:1 pistons don't like being NA. Just wait till you find the right buyer and realize it won't sell in a day. You'll probably get 10 if you hang in there.
