hey guys i need to replace my axle and just wanted to see how much people were paying to fix theres b4 i get ripped. anyway i did a search and couldnt find the info. thanks for any help any body in ny want to do it for me ill pay lol

 

axle maybe $100 for the axle and labor about $50 ? maybe less for labor . it is only a axle .

I payed $85 brand new for my passenger side front axel. This was from checker auto parts and with me giving them my broken one. It could be cheaper or more expensive for you depending whether you have ABS or if it is driver/passenger side. You should try and put it in your self it isn't that hard take about an hour

i payed 50 from napa. there was a 30 core charge but i got that back. it took my friend (experienced mechanic) about 20-30 minutes to do.

 

are napa and other auto parts store axles ok for up to 200hp cars? and can abs and non abs axles be interchangeable? i need some axles for my ls/vtec integra.

get aftermarket axles the cv joints are so much stronger and last longer go to driveshaftshop.com good prices

 

u need to make sure you purchase the ABS axels if you have ABS otherwise you will not have your ABS working right and the ABS light will come on. You dont want to fu*k with brakes they are a safety thing
