how do you reset or make the maintance required light go away...help

 

Pretty sure you put your ignition key in a slot on the cluster...

i have a 91 so no maintnece light, but i think thats what my friend said.

 

Put your hand on the right side of your steering column and follow it down the line under the visible part of it. Down there is a light blue square button that you just hold down for a few seconds until it turns off.

 

theres a button, i think its green, under the dash on the drivers side just to the right of the steering column. turn your accessories on and hold it down for three seconds then turn off the car and turn it back on and you should be good. At least i think thats how it goes if you have any problems let me know and ill go look at my teg

 

awww i totally thought i had this one

 

there should be a button down on the bottom underneath your steering column

 

turn the ignition all the way to the right but do not start the engine.

Feel under the dash for a square button

press and hold that button until the check engine light goes off.

You have to press the button imediately after you turn the key for it to reset.
